I ordered tororo soba but the seasoning is too dark. I can not eat it The clerk was talking for a long time, saying a foreigner's bad talk. I was very uncomfortable.
MoreBelow average noodles and tempura. I have had much better noodles at $5 vending machine shops in Tokyo. No credit cards. However nice decore.
MoreSimple but delicious dishes. I loved the tempura udon!
One of the nicest, simple restaurants of Arashiyama. A few years ago we have eaten here several times and now again. The map is well-arranged but offers a wide selection. The service is very friendly and easily overcomes the language barriers. The prices are low, for € 10 per person you come a long way for a lunch that you can spend the rest of the afternoon with. It's in a small restaurant that can seat maybe 30 guests. There are therefore often people waiting for a table. But the operation goes so fast that the lead time is quite short and often there is soon a table free again.
MoreOverpriced 100%. Food is not even as good as yoshinoya... There are a ton of other places nearby that are superior. You should avoid!
MoreThe old-fashioned appearance may feel a little difficult to enter, but the clerk was very friendly and friendly and ate the oyakodon, but the eggs were fluffy and the broth was so delicious that it was very delicious.Although the price was in the middle of a sightseeing spot called Arashiyama, the menu was cheap and abundant. Recommended shop for sightseeing in Arashiyama
More1 도 아 꽙쑵 꽙쑵 땁 땁 ️ ️Potato udon noodles and cold noodlesThe tempura gives me a bite to the muoshunThe cold meat is the noodles of the noodles.
MoreGood, convenient, comfortable and courteous
Capacity
Nice food, feels very cosy and local.
Delicious, price is reasonable.
Very tasty French toast and iced café au lait with hand-whipped cream! 😀
Oishi
I got their beef curry udon and it was pretty good... but they barely gave you any noodles or meat. I was still starving afterwards. There was a wait/line. My BFs dish of chicken and eggs over rice was so much better than mine.
MoreBite dishThe curry and rice taste is usually normal, but the rice can be eaten with just 2 spoons, and the udon broth is hot water. For World Heritage
MoreThe clerk 's attitude is a bonfico.
There are many foreign tourists
Warm shop
I ordered buckwheat noodles, but the noodles were mostly left behind.
Traditional Japanese style restaurant
Tsukemono was delicious and tempura was delicious.
Good access and good taste
Food is nice. Chicken katsu is great ~
was delicious
Simple homecooked Japanese food
For a simple lunch in Arashiyama. Quaint and friendly.
I came to Arashiyama by sightseeing and ate at lunch at a restaurant here but it was very delicious!I ordered parent and child rice bowls, but the delicious soup was delicious and the eggs were also satisfying with the Trotoro!
MoreDelicous food, reasonable price with nice decoration Recommmend to try this.
Comfortable small restaurantThe cold weather came in to eat soup tofu just rightPork chops are also very good!
MoreGreat restaurant in the middle of Arashiyama, with the right pieces and very fast service! They also have an English menu so ordering was very simple.
MoreAlthough ordered parent and child rice bowl, it was delicious, but just after the friend finished eating, the customer who came next even though he was not seated yet, "I'm free in my seat here" or "Mr. ○ ○ this table Tidy up and clean up ~ "I was urged to leave the shop.Although I was satisfied with my delicious deliciousness, I felt sick due to the attitude of the clerk.I do not want to go anymore.
MoreAfter a long walk around town we found this restaurant the perfect remedy for the hunger we worked up. The food was simple, but very hearty and tasty. The set was both value for money and thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as the staff were very friendly and polite and the food was delicious.
MoreLet's drink it in Japan. Money is so awesome.
Touristic place, lot of choices but the rice is better than udon, which is over cooked. The taste is sweet & salty. Ok for a quick lunch but don't expect anything more.
MoreIt is a shop of the Showa taste. It is a shop for rustic tourists, we do not expect the taste and service, but on the contrary it is advisable to enjoy the taste of such a traditional shops. There is a three-star shop in the vicinity if you are looking for services and tastes.
MoreIf you just want a simple, tasty, good-value lunch in a place with good service and very fair prices, this is the place. Rice with scrambled egg and chicken was 900yen, came quickly, tasted delicious. It's not a gourmet restaurant but if you've worked up an appetite or notice it's lunchtime on your way tot he bamboo forest etc, it's perfect.
MoreIt was quite difficult to see from the outside, but if you look at it, it's a big hit! Kyoto-style sweet soup. If you look closely at the store, you will find great deals! My daughter seems to have learned the limit of stomach stomach set meal not in the menu
MoreI think that it is a reasonable restaurant for its location and can be used by school excursions. You can eat normally for less than 1000 yen.It was good that there were many side dishes such as pickles.
MoreSimple eatery among many in arashiyama touristy area. Simple menu, very home feel. Cash only. Very small tables and seats.
MoreFried shrimp tempura udon with fried chickenDeliciousThe store is a bit coolMaybe it ’s about to snoreA little hastyBut the food is generally goodDon't define the decoration and the environmentThe meal is hot, I personally accept it
MoreAfter induction, the set meal was cheap, so I entered it. The cooked rice and side dishes come out little by little, and even after a soft induction, they are served in a pot of hotpot, and it is fun to eat with a small bowl. The taste is mediocre
MoreThe Yoshida-ya is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant with one of the best tasting menus around. My wife and I enjoyed a delightful and very filling lunch for about ¥2,500 (a fraction of the cost of some of the surrounding restaurants). The staff were helpful, and despite being packed, the atmosphere was tranquil and the food was brought out quickly. Perfect way to relax in the afternoon after being done with the nearby temple tours.
MoreNice small little shop in the center of a big tourist area. Food was ready fast a decent quality
MoreI had the udon soup and rice balls, which I enjoyed. Very convenient location too.
MoreI wonder if the stock of herring soba was too sweet. It might be something like this...And maybe it can't be helped? However, the inside of the store was a little small.
Moredelicious! The prices are reasonable and easy to use.I think it's definitely better to eat udon here instead of going into a store where you'll notice the strange surroundings.
